出题特点和出题范围

职称英语考试中词汇选项共15道小题, 每题1分,根据所给的句子语义判断所给的四个选项中哪个选项和句子中下划线的词意义相同或相近。出题特点就是选同义词。这部分试题是六个题型中难度最小的,通过历年真题分析考指定复习教材中的原题会占到7-8道,教材中没有的新题考生也可以通过查词典的方式解决,一般考生都可以得到12分左右。

一)        答题方法

1.     先易后难

15道题的划线单词浏览一遍,凡是考试用书中出现的原题有印象的答案就直接选定答案。

2.     分析判断

对于没印象的句子,先根据划线单词的词性等各种已知信息对选项进行排除,尽可能通过综合分析判断解决问题。

3.     查字典

对于完全看不懂句子的题和第二环节仍不能解决的题就直接查字典,先查下划线单词,再查四个选项里的单词,寻找同类项。

三)答题技巧

1. 只看划横线单词和选项单词。直接把有语境的句子翻译题一步变成在五个单词中查找两个同义或近义词的题。

2. 根据以下原则对选项进行排除:

1) 词性一致原则:也就是划线单词是名词、动词、形容词还是副词,其选项也应是相应的名词、动词、形容词或副词;

2) 名词单()数一致原则:也就是划线单词若是()可数名词,其选项也对应是()可数名词;可数名词是单()数,其选项也应是单();但要注意,有些可数名词的单复数形式是一样的;

3) 动词及物(vt.)或不及物(vi.)应一致原则:也就是划线单词若是()及物动词,其选项也对应是()及物动词;

4) 时态语态一致原则:也就是划线动词是什么时态或语态,其选项就应是相同的时态或语态,但要注意不规则动词;

四)    答题注意事项

1.     这部分试题答题时间应控制在15-20分钟内;

2.     注意查字典的技巧,提高考试效率(查字典技巧将会在应试技巧班中做详细讲解);

3.     不要把词汇选项题做成句子翻译题,如果没有把握看得懂的话,就不要花时间看句子,先查下划线单词,再查四个选项里的单词,找出意思相同或相近的选项;

4.     遇到一词多义的情况要合理应用逻辑推理的方式解决。
