Model 1 College Life and High School Life

While in high school，students often dream of college life. They think of it as interesting and extremely free. But after entering college，they find it not quite as they expected.

In college，students have more freedom. Unlike in middle school， students needn’t contribute to their study almost all the time except eating and sleeping. There no longer strict control from parents or teachers. They are their own masters after class. In order to get good grades，they must study by themselves. Of course，they have more time to develop their interests and hobbies. Sometimes they can take a part-time job to gain work experience.

At the same time，college life brings about more responsibilities.

Middle school students generally care about nothing but their studies. Their teachers and parents will do all the other things for them. While in college，students have to take care of themselves. They must do the washing and shopping. They have to decide what clothes to put on and with whom to make friends. Furthermore，as adults or would-be adults，they should learn to take responsibility for what they have done. They must first become responsible college students. Later，they will become responsible citizens.

College life is an extension of high school life. Making full use of it will lay a good foundation for one s future career.
