温家宝：西藏是中国领土不可分割的一部分，涉藏问题纯属中国的内政，不容外国干涉，这是我们的原则立场。

Tibet is an inalienable part of China's territory, and the Tibet-related issues are totally and completely China's internal affairs and brook no foreign interference. This is our principled position.

我们对待达赖喇嘛的政策是一贯的、明确的，只要他放弃分裂活动，我们就愿意同他的代表进行接谈，这个大门始终是敞开的。

Our policy towards the Dalai Lama is consistent and clear cut. As long as he gives up his separatist stand, we are willing to have contact and consultations with his representatives. This door is always open.

Last year on the very difficult circumstances, at the request of the Dalai Lama we had three rounds of consultations and the contacts with his representatives. But for such contacts and the consultations to make progress, I think what is important is for the Dalai Lama to have sincerity, otherwise no substantive results can be made.
