(误)I met him two years before.

(正)I met him two years ago.(表示一段时间以前，ago用于一般过去时;before用于过去完成时。)

12、中文：他们昨天晚上回来得晚。

(误)They came back lately last night.

(正)They came back late last night.(lately(最近)，late(晚，迟)，都是副词。)
