语法：被动语态

1.不知道或没有必要说出动作的执行者

This kind of machine is made in China.

A good many high building have been put up in the city in the past few years.

2.强调动作的承受者

The work was finished last Friday.

The matter will be discussed at the next meeting.

3.被动语态的特殊用法：

(1)汉语有一类句子不出现主语，在英语中一般可用被动结构表示。

It is said that ---

It is supposed that ---

I must be admitted that ---

（2）有些动词后面接一个介词或副词，构成短语。变被动语态时，短语动词做及物动词用。

1）The children are well looked after.

2）The doctor has been sent for.
