本讲主要是向大家介绍出现在08年教材中的新增C级词汇。
教材与07年相比，共新增34组。其中，形容词最多新增11组， 动词8组，各种类型词组共计8组， 名词4组，副词3组。我们将分两讲讲解这34组词汇。
今天，主要介绍动词和词组。

补充：call属于多义词，不仅表示打电话，还表示喊、叫，取名，拜访，认为。常见的搭配关系：call on sb = visit sb拜访某人; call at place = visit place参观某地; 来源：中国职称英语考试网
Call for sth = require = need要求、需要；call off sth = cancel = abandon 取消、放弃。
所以，当call表示‘打电话’时 同义词有：call up, phone, phone up, contact.
2. The policeman (警察)asked（要求、请求） him to identify（认出、鉴别） the thief（小偷）.
A. name： v 命名、说出某人的名字、识别
Can you name all the guests at the party?(你能说出参加晚会所有客人的名字吗？)
B. distinguish区别、看清、听清，常用搭配：distinguish A from B

所以，identify = name = recognize表示认出、识别
