　　On the Significance of the Qing-Zang Railroad
　　The Qing-Zang Railroad is a major project in China’s West Development Strategy. Undoubtedly, it will be infinitely beneficial to the Tibet Autonomous Region as well as the whole China.
　　However, people’s views on this issue vary from person to person. Though most people applaud it, some hold that the railroad would destroy the traditional ethnic culture in Tibet. 
　　As for me，I admit Tibetan fragile ecology needs protecting，but Tibetan people’s better life should be the priority. It isn’t justifiable to ask Tibetan people to sacrifice the right for economic development for the sake of retaining the ecology balance. People from every corner of the world have the right to seek development and live a better life. Besides, Chinese authorities attached significant importance to this issue. We shall carry out cultural protection measures instead of sealing Tibet up and prohibiting it from developing and changing, which is neither possible nor human.
　　With the opening of the Qing-Zang Railroad, more and more Chinese and foreign tourists will come to Tibet. Thus, more people will learn and understand Tibetan culture. In addition, the railroad will also play a significant role in accelerating the social and economic development of Qinghai Province and Tibet Autonomous Region. I believe that the great Qing-Zang Railway will bestow Tibet a magical wing to bring its beauty to the whole world.
